Three people are facing charges following an incident in Manchester in which police said they confronted an angry crowd and an officer was attacked on Thursday. Three people are facing charges following an incident in Manchester in which police say they confronted an angry crowd and an officer was attacked on Thursday.

According to investigators, officers executed a search warrant on Parker Street in connection with a firearms and drug trafficking case.

As they exited the building, they said, they were confronted by a large, unruly crowd.

Elida Perez-Peco, 39, of Manchester, Jorge Ortega, 18, of Manchester, and a 17-year-old face multiple charges. All three were charged with rioting.
