Hartford police arrest suspect in June 2022 murder

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford police have arrested a man accused of killing another man in June 2022.

On June 15, 2022, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers were called to the 30 block of Martin Street to investigate a decomposing body found behind a building. According to police, there were clear signs of an attack.


Police said a caretaker found 54-year-old Brian Knighton living at the home. According to police, Knighton’s body was not discovered for two days.

After an 18-month investigation, Hartford police arrested 25-year-old Deaudrienne Keith of Hartford in connection with Knighton’s death.

He was charged with murder and held on $750,000 bond.
