Motorcyclist killed in collision with deer on New Jersey road

A 63-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision with a deer in Barnegat on Thursday evening, police said.

The man was driving south on Warren Grove Road (County Route 610) around 7:30 p.m. when a deer ran onto the road from the east, Barnegat police said.

The man was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. The police did not identify him.

The crash is still under investigation.
