Gaza Civil Defense: Around 170 dead in days-long Israeli operation

The Gaza Strip’s Civil Defense Authority said on Saturday that around 170 people had been killed and hundreds injured in the Israeli military operation in the area around the city of Khan Yunis since it began on Monday.

“Since the start of the Israeli military operation in the Khan Yunis area, we are talking about about 170 martyrs and hundreds of injured,” agency spokesman Mahmud Bassal told AFP.
