36 people were injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine last day

At least 36 people, including children, were injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine over the past day, regional authorities reported on the morning of July 23.

The Ukrainian air defense shot down seven of the eight Shahed kamikaze drones launched overnight, the air force said.

A Kh-69 cruise missile was diverted from its target by active countermeasures, the report said.

In Dnipropetrovsk OblastFive people were injured in Russian attacks on the Nikopol district, said Governor Serhii Lysak.

Two five-story buildings, about 10 houses and other civilian property were damaged, he added.

In Donetsk OblastAccording to Governor Vadym Filashkin, 15 people were injured in Russian attacks in the past 24 hours.

Four were injured in Kostiantynivka, four more in Perebudova, two in Rozdolne, two in Hrodivka and one each in Holubivka, Lyman and Sontsivka, the governor said.

A Russian drone attack on Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast Shortly after midnight on July 23, a 42-year-old man was injured, said Governor Oleh Syniehubov.

Three women and one man were injured in Russian attacks across the oblast on July 22, Syniehubov reported.

Russian attacks against Kherson OblastSeven people were injured over the past day, said Governor Oleksandr Prokudin. Around 30 houses, a gas pipeline and other property were damaged, he said.

Four people, including a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, were killed in a Russian artillery attack on Ochakiv on Mykolaiv Oblast early in the morning of July 23, said Governor Vitalii Kim.

A residential building was damaged during the strike, he added.

The Chernihiv, Luhansk, Sumy and Zaporizhia regions were also attacked, but no casualties were reported.
