Chelsea, MA Tessa Rivera missing after escape – NBC Boston

A 16-year-old girl from New Bedford, Massachusetts, has not returned home after running away from her mother in Chelsea nearly a week ago, police said, asking the public for help in finding her.

Tessa Rivera has been missing since July 17, according to Chelsea police. She said she ran away from her mother at MGH Chelsea.

According to police, Tessa has run away from her mother several times and written suicide bombings.

The 16-year-old does not have a phone and is unfamiliar with the Chelsea area, police said, citing his mother as she lives in a home in New Bedford.

Tessa was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black sweatpants and black Crocs, police said.
