Princess Anne is still recovering from being hospitalized with a concussion, which we have now learned was an incident involving a horse.

The 73-year-old princess has cancelled several appointments planned for next week, including a trip to Scotland to visit the lighthouse tender NLV Pharos, as well as a trip to Norfolk in eastern England, where she was due to visit Brancaster Station in her role as royal patron of the National Coastwatch Institution. People reported.

She canceled the appearances on the advice of her medical team, the outlet said.

Anne’s visit to a Citizens Advice Bureau office in Norwich was also cancelled. Norwich Evening News reported.

King Charles III’s only sister suffered minor injuries in an incident last month at her Gatcombe Park estate, Buckingham Palace said in a statement at the time. They added that she was being treated for observation at Southmead Hospital in Bristol “as a precautionary measure and is expected to make a full and speedy recovery.”

A few days later, Anne’s husband Timothy Laurence shared an update on her health with a well-wisher during a visit to the hospital. “She is recovering well, thank you,” he said, according to the palace. “We are deeply grateful to the medical team and hospital staff for their expert care – and to the emergency services who were all so wonderful at the scene.”

Anne was discharged from hospital after five days and has since taken part in a number of events, including the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) national championships on 12 July – where she said she could not remember “anything” about her incident – and a visit to the British Army’s Military Intelligence Battalion on 17 July.
