DAVIS, CA (July 17, 2024) – A multi-car crash blocked 80 lanes of the highway near Highway 113 on Monday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash occurred on the 80 Freeway near the University of California, Davis. Authorities did not provide any information on what caused the crash on Interstate 80 near Highway 113. The crash caused traffic congestion for commuters as of 3:27 p.m. because the crash blocked both westbound lanes.
