Human remains found in WA, investigation launched

PIERCE COUNTY, Washington. – Detectives are investigating after someone found human remains near Gig Harbor on Wednesday.

According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD), officers responded to a report of human remains found at approximately 5:48 p.m. on July 10 and dispatched to the Purdy Park and Ride.

The human remains were handed over to the coroner for identification.
