15-year-old boy shot dead in Chicago’s Grand Crossing neighborhood

CHICAGO – A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed in Chicago’s Grand Crossing neighborhood on Wednesday.

The police arrested a suspect.


According to police, officers responding to a ShotSpotter alert found the 15-year-old with a gunshot wound to the head in the 700 block of South King Drive shortly after 5:40 p.m.

Emergency responders took the teenage victim to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
