The husband of the “Me & U” artist, Alex Finespoke on her social media account about the heartbreaking footage of his 37-year-old wife. “I wrote this some time ago, but the words ring true not just today, but every day,” he captioned the update. “I want my children and all children to live in a world that protects women and girls and treats them equally. To the women and children: you are not alone and you will be heard.”

“Men who beat women and children are not men. Men who enable and protect these people are not men,” he wrote. “As men, violence against women should not be inevitable,” added Fine, who married Ventura in 2019. “To all survivors: your stories are true and people believe you. To all survivors: you are not alone and there are men and women who only care about your children. Well-being and safety. We want you to succeed and develop.”
