Man shot in downtown Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – Albuquerque police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead downtown Sunday night.

According to APD, officers responded to the area of ​​2nd St. and Gold Ave. around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound who was dead at the scene. Detectives arrived and began investigating the shooting. No further details were released.
