1 dead, 4 injured in car accident, US 95 southbound closed

Four fatal accidents in 24 hours

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A teenager is dead and four other people were hospitalized after a rollover crash on southbound U.S. 95/515 early Tuesday morning. This is the fourth fatal crash in less than 24 hours on Las Vegas streets.

According to Nevada State Police, the crash was reported just after midnight and involved multiple vehicles. Southbound lanes of US 95 are closed from Tropicana Avenue to Russell Road.

According to police, one teenager died at the scene of the accident, two other teenagers and two adults were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes from the highway, such as Flamingo Road or Boulder Highway.
