Regular police investigate shooting

According to a statement released Monday by Normal police, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Samantha Street around 10:35 p.m. Friday for a report of shots fired.

Officers found that an apartment had been hit, but no injuries were reported, police said.

No arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation.
