WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) – A woman was hospitalized after reporting she had been shot early Saturday.

According to the Wichita Falls Police Department, officers and first responders were called to the Stripes Convenience Store on Call Field Road at Kemp Boulevard at approximately 3:30 a.m. on June 15, 2024, for a report of a woman who reported being shot.


She was taken to hospital with an unknown injury.

She told police she did not know who shot her or where it happened, but said it was somewhere between her house and the store.

Officers searched the area but found no evidence. Officers on the scene said the alleged incident did not occur inside the store and the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.

The case will be handed over to investigators.
