Kenya Moore talks about suspension from “RHOA” after oral sex poster scandal

Kenya Moore speaks out after her suspension from The Real Housewives of Atlanta for an oral sex poster scandal.

While Bravo cameras were rolling on Thursday, June 6, the 53-year-old reality star unveiled explicit posters of new RHOA As PEOPLE can confirm, actress Brittany Eady performed oral sex at the opening of her new Kenya Moore Hair Spa.

The other person involved in the sex act depicted in the poster has not yet been identified, and Eady was not at the spa when the posters were unveiled.

A source told PEOPLE that Moore unveiled the posters after Eady allegedly threatened her co-star with the word “gun.” However, a second source close to the production denies this, saying, “At no point was Kenya threatened with a gun, nor was a gun ever involved during production.”

As a result of the spa incident, the first source confirmed to PEOPLE that Moore was suspended from RHOAUntil the results of the broadcaster’s investigation are available, she will not know whether she will return to filming.

A spokesperson for Bravo immediately responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Following the incident, Moore took to Instagram Live on Friday, June 14, telling her followers, “You guys are going to see me. Despite all of this, I’m not going anywhere.”

Moore had already addressed the incident on June 8, writing on X (formerly known as Twitter): “I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed anyone’s private images or footage, nor have I requested images belonging to others for the purpose of threatening or blackmailing.”

“I’ve always felt validated. I can’t talk about STORY, even when people spread fake news #sweet16.”

After the publication of the pictures – which were allegedly available online – in Moore’s hair salon, her RHOA Co-star Drew Sidora, who was also in attendance, apparently reacted on social media, writing on X (formerly known as Twitter): “I am speechless and speechless 🤯”

Eady also responded to the news of the incident on her Instagram story. “It’s never a good feeling to be attacked or bullied by someone who I thought was welcoming me into a new circle but who I’ve never met,” she wrote, according to Queens of Bravo.

“Just to clarify,” added the businesswoman and podcast host, “I have never owned a weapon or threatened anyone. I have never been to jail, never fought, or even received a speeding ticket. That is not my character. I am hurt by the portrayal that is being presented here. Wrong is wrong.”

She also shared information about Georgia state law that prohibits the distribution of sexually explicit images without the consent of the person depicted.

Moore announced her return RHOA in April. “I may be Gone With the Wind fabulous but I’m not going anywhere! 🍑,” she captioned a video of herself dancing to her popular 2012 song.
