Memphis man killed in car crash in Mississippi

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – A Memphis man was killed in a traffic crash in Marshall County, Mississippi, authorities said.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Highway 302 in Marshall County shortly before 1 p.m. Friday.

According to MHP, 41-year-old Marvin Dunn Jr. was driving east on Highway 302 when his GMC Sierra collided with the rear of a Freightliner.

According to MHP, Dunn was pronounced dead at the scene.

MHP is still investigating the accident.
