Police ask for help in finding missing autistic woman in Hartsdale

Greenburgh Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman who may be in need of medical attention.

Michelle Higgs, 19, is a vulnerable adult with autism, police said. She was last seen on South Central Avenue in Hartsdale around 3 p.m. Tuesday. She was wearing a burgundy sweater, white T-shirt, blue jeans and tan moccasins.

Higgs has brown hair, hazel eyes, is 5’5″ tall and weighs about 150 pounds. Police believe she is still in the area and is attracted to the water.
