Franklin Police and other agencies conduct searches in connection with investigation at massage parlor

FRANKLIN, Indiana – Franklin police said they executed search warrants at seven locations in and outside the city of Franklin on Thursday as part of an investigation into “questionable business practices” at several massage parlors in Franklin.

According to a department press release, officers obtained arrest warrants at three businesses and four private residences believed to be connected to the investigation. The business locations included:

• Sunshine Golden Spa is located on W. Jefferson St. in Franklin
• Sun Health Spa, located on W. Jefferson St. in Franklin
• Hong Kong Massage and Spa, N. Main St. in Franklin.

Officials said the arrest warrants were obtained after “countless hours of investigative work and assistance from the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office.”

Several law enforcement agencies reportedly assisted in executing the search warrants, including:

• Franklin Police Department
• Johnson County Sheriff’s Office
• Bargersville Police Department
• Greenwood Police Department
• Indianapolis Police Department.

“The Franklin Police Department will continue to work closely with the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office to ensure these businesses operate within the law,” the press release said.
