SLED is investigating Aiken Mayor Teddy Milner over allegations of exploitation of vulnerable adults

AIKEN, S.C. (WJBF) – An investigation has been launched into the mayor of Aikens.

According to SLED, the agency was asked by Aiken Department of Public Safety Director Charles Barranco to investigate Mayor Teddy Milner over allegations of exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

The request was filed on Feb. 29 by the Aiken Department of Public Safety.

We reached out to Milner for comment but did not receive a response.
