The four teenagers were in a pickup truck that collided with a semi-trailer early Monday morning.

Four teenagers were killed in a crash between a pickup truck and a semi-truck early Monday morning.Officials arrived at the scene at about 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 16/60 and County Road TT near Elba. The crash scene was approximately 3 miles east of Columbus in Dodge County. According to a news release, a Ford F-150 was traveling north on CR TT when the driver ran a stop sign and was struck by a semi-truck traveling east on Highway 16/60. The semi-truck was not pulling a trailer. Three of the five occupants of the F-150 were pronounced dead at the scene, including:A 19-year-old Sun Prairie man, identified as the driverA 17-year-old Sun Prairie boy, front passengerA 16-year-old Madison boy, front passengerA fourth passenger in the F-150, an 18-year-old woman, died at the hospital. The fifth passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Madison, is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the semi, a 57-year-old man from La Farge, Wisconsin, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The names of the victims have not been released. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.

Four teenagers were killed in an accident between a pickup truck and a semi-trailer early Monday morning.

Officers arrived at the scene of the accident at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Highway 16/60 and County Road TT near Elba. The accident scene was approximately three miles east of Columbus in Dodge County.

According to a news release, a Ford F-150 was traveling north on CR TT when the driver ran a stop sign and was struck by a semi-truck traveling east on Highway 16/60. The semi-truck was not towing a trailer.

Three of the five people in the F-150 were pronounced dead at the scene, including:

  • A 19-year-old man from Sun Prairie, identified as the driver
  • A 17-year-old boy from Sun Prairie, passenger
  • A 16-year-old boy from Madison, passenger

A fourth F-150 passenger, an 18-year-old woman, died in hospital. The fifth passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Madison, is in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The tractor-trailer driver, a 57-year-old man from La Farge, Wisconsin, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The names of the victims were not released.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
