Indian Navy initiates preparatory measures while situation is closely monitored at Naval Headquarters

The Indian Navy has initiated preparatory measures to provide credible Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) in the wake of Cyclone Remal, as per existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The cyclone is expected to cross the coast on the night of 26-27 May. The situation is being closely monitored at Naval Headquarters and the Naval Command East Headquarters is taking extensive preparedness measures.
