11 people arrested on gun and drug charges after special investigation in Troup County, sheriff says

LAGRANGE, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Nearly a dozen people were arrested on multiple gun and drug charges in May following a special investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, according to the Troup County Sheriff’s Office.

The 11 suspects were arrested May 6-18 as six local and state agencies investigated areas where gun violence was occurring, the sheriff’s office said.

“I am grateful for the cooperation of these agencies as they work with my team to combat illegal drugs and weapons in Troup County,” said Sheriff James Woodruff.

Those arrested are:

Markevis Daeshawn Brown, 21, LaGrange

• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute

• Possession of a firearm for certain crimes

Jalen Deshaun Parham, 20, LaGrange

• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute

• Possession of a firearm for certain crimes

Jaquadrian Hardy, 26, LaGrange

• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute

• Possession of Schedule II narcotics with intent to distribute

• Possession of a firearm by a convicted criminal

• Possession of a firearm for certain crimes

• Theft by receiving stolen property

Adarius Dijuan Reese, 26, LaGrange

• Trafficking in fentanyl

Henry Bradford, 33, LaGrange

• Violation of probation

• Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Corithian Newton, 27, LaGrange

• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute

Santerio Bailey, 34, LaGrange

• Violation of probation

• Possession of a Schedule I narcotic

• Possession of a Schedule II narcotic

Tudorus Henderson, 45, LaGrange

• Violation of probation conditions

• Selling cocaine

Keymious Davidson, 25, West Point

• Probation violations

• Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

• Misdemeanor possession of marijuana

Jamichael Williams, 18, LaGrange

• Criminal possession of marijuana

• Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony

Ankevious Moore, 18, LaGrange

• Possession of a machine gun
