Police respond to shots fired near the Rooster Days Festival in Broken Arrow

A juvenile shooting near the Rooster Days festival in Broken Arrow is under investigation.

Broken Arrow police said officers working at the festival heard gunshots east just after 7 p.m.

BAPD responded to the location and after investigating, discovered a group of juveniles were fighting and someone was firing shots into the air.

According to police, a juvenile was arrested and the weapon used was seized.

BAPD said this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
