Columbus Motor Squad investigates early morning accident near Airport Thruway, Armor Road

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The Columbus Motor Squad was on scene near the Airport Thruway and Armor Road early Sunday morning.

According to officials, police were dispatched to the scene at approximately 2:19 a.m. for a report of a single-vehicle accident. Officials said a vehicle was traveling south on Armor Road toward the Airport Thruway when the car left the roadway.

They say a female passenger was transported to St. Francis with life-threatening injuries – the condition of the driver is unknown at this time.
