Police are investigating the shooting Friday evening

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Friday night.

According to police, officers were called to a shooting in the area of East Main Street and North Limestone around 10:35 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

There is currently no suspect information and the victim has not been identified.

The investigations are still ongoing.
