Bihar government school teacher accused of sexually abusing minors; complaint filed against him | Indiablooms

A teacher in Bihar is accused of sexually exploiting several underage children at a public school in Muzaffarpur district, media reports said.

The accused teacher was identified as Kasif Raza, according to OpIndia citing abplive.com.

Five first-grade students reportedly claimed that the teacher often put his hands down their pants and inserted his fingers into their genitals.

He threatened them not to tell anyone and that he would have their names removed from the school register.

An FIR was filed against the accused after a parent of the victim informed the school principal about the teacher.

Furthermore, an official from the Ministry of Education confirmed that the case was prima facie true, OpIndia reported.

The police have launched an operation to catch the accused, who was suspended from school and has since gone into hiding.

After receiving information about the matter, SDM East Amit Kumar told OpIndia that the matter came to light in Bandra block.

He said the defendant would not be spared.
