Channel 4 reality show star Harry Savage has been found dead in his home at the age of 26.

The police are treating the death of the Hunted Star as unexpectedly as a man in his thirties who was arrested at that address and later released on bail pending further investigations.

An autopsy began on Saturday (July 20) and police are awaiting the results of toxicology tests.

At around 9:15am on Friday (July 19), paramedics were called to a house in Putney, south-west London. They found an unconscious man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Savage appeared in the fourth season of Hunted in 2019 along with his older brother Frank. The episodes were recorded just weeks after their mother’s death.

The series follows a group of people who are pursued by former police officers and intelligence agents as they try to evade capture. Harry was a 20-year-old drama student when he appeared in the series, while his brother was 23.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said The Independent that they will “remain in contact with the man’s family and support them during further investigations to clarify the circumstances.”

They added: “Detectives responsible for policing Wandsworth are investigating the incident as an ‘unexpected death’.”

Condolences for Harry poured in on social media, with one friend writing a touching post: “I lost one of my best friends this weekend. I am utterly heartbroken, devastated and in shock. Hold on to the people closest to you. Tell them you love them every damn day.”

“I will miss you forever Harry Savage. You were and always will be everything. I don’t know how I’d get through life without you but you would just tell me to get the hell over it, I love you x”.

Earlier this year, the family was embroiled in a bitter legal battle as Harry’s brother Frank battled their 76-year-old uncle Ray Savage over a farm worth a million pounds that had been in the family for three generations.

Ray wanted to sell the property to the highest bidder after splitting up with his partner in 2015, but Frank and his siblings insisted that the land should stay in the family. His attempt was successful and he now owns the farm together with his three brothers and sisters.
