Showers and storms this week

(KFVS) – It looks like a wet and rainy week.

Temperatures will be slightly below average over the next few days as we are north of a cold front, with lows this morning around 18 degrees and highs only reaching around 28 to 30 degrees.

Today the sky is partly cloudy and there may be light gusts of wind.

According to meteorologist Brian Alworth, there is also a slight but gradually increasing chance of some showers or thunderstorms today and overnight. However, no severe outbreaks are expected.

The probability of isolated showers and thunderstorms will only increase slightly from tomorrow until Wednesday.

The next major rainfall is expected at the end of the week as a disturbance moves from the southwest to the northeast. It is likely to get heavier from Friday to Saturday.

Looking ahead, we will see a return of hot and humid weather conditions in the last days of July once this low pressure system passes the Heartland.
