One person died and 35 were injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine last day

At least one person was killed and at least 35 injured, including children, in Russian attacks in Ukraine in the last 24 hours, regional authorities said on the morning of July 18.

Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 16 Shahed drones, two Kh-59/69 cruise missiles and one Kh-35 cruise missile, the Air Force said.

The two Kh-59/69 missiles and all drones were reportedly shot down by Ukrainian air defenses over the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zaporizhia, Kyiv and Kharkiv oblasts.

In Dnipropetrovsk OblastTwo men aged 51 and 60 were injured in rocket and drone attacks in the Nikopol district on the night of July 18, said Governor Serhii Lysak.

A two-story building, houses, farm buildings and other civilian property were damaged, the governor added.

Russian attacks against Donetsk Oblast According to Governor Vadym Filashkin, 19 people were injured in the last 24 hours.

Among other places, six victims were reported in Pokrovsk, three in Novofedorivka, two in Novozhelanne, two in Mykhailivka and two in Pleshchiivka.

In Kharkiv Oblast, A 60-year-old woman was killed and two men, aged 69 and 80, were injured in an attack on the village of Hlushkivka in the early hours of July 18, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said.

Another woman was reportedly injured in an attack on the village of Petropavlivka.

Russian attacks against Kherson Oblast Over the past day, six people have been injured, reported Governor Oleksandr Prokudin. A farm, high-rise buildings, houses and other property have been damaged.

In Luhansk OblastA man in his 50s was injured in artillery and drone attacks on the village of Nevske, said Governor Artem Lysohor.

A civilian was also injured in a Russian drone attack on the Sumy-Putyvl-Hlukhiv highway. Sumy Oblast On July 17, the regional military administration reported.

In Zaporizhia Oblast, Two children and one adult were injured in a Russian attack on the Polohy district, said regional governor Ivan Fedorov.

The Kyiv, Mykolaiv and Poltava oblasts were also attacked, but no casualties were reported.
