Woman killed in shooting at Talmadge apartment – ​​NBC 7 San Diego

A woman is dead after a shooting in the Talmadge district of San Diego on Monday evening, police said. The suspect is still at large.

According to San Diego police, officers responded to a reported shooting at approximately 8:45 p.m. in the 4400 block of Euclid Avenue.

The woman was in her apartment when a male suspect entered the apartment and shot her, SDPD Officer John Buttle said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police described the suspect as a 35 to 40-year-old man who was last seen wearing a black tracksuit with a red stripe down the side.

Police say it is currently unknown why the suspect entered the apartment. The SDPD Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, Buttle said.
