1 dead after fire at Hillsborough County store

DOVER, Florida – One person was killed when a business caught fire in Dover Sunday evening, the Hillsborough County Fire Department said in a news release.

Firefighters received calls about the large fire at around 4:45 p.m., emergency services said. Arriving firefighters tackled the fire on Sydney Dover Road from the outside, then entered the store and found one person who reportedly died at the scene.

According to the fire department, no emergency personnel were injured. An investigation has been launched.
