Wedding guests with Scorpio crashed in Rautahat, two dead

RAUTAHAT, July 12: An Indian Scorpio jeep carrying wedding guests from Rautahat to Sarlahi met with an accident. Two people were killed in the accident.

The accident occurred at 9 am when the Scorpio (HR 70 D 8382) met with an accident along Dhampur road stretch in Gadhimai Municipality-6, Rautahat after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

According to Rautahat District Police Office, the deceased were identified as Kul Bahadur Shrestha, 55, and Sweta Pandit, 7, the daughter of Rabindra Pandit.

According to police, five of the twelve occupants of the crashed car are in normal condition, while three other, as yet unidentified people are being treated in a local hospital.
