First alarm weather

The afternoon heat reaches its peak in the middle of the week. Isolated strong to severe storms will occur Thursday afternoon as a cold front approaches. A FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY has been issued. The main danger will be damaging gusts of wind. Rain and storms will continue on Friday. Much cooler and drier weather is expected for Mother’s Day weekend.
