According to Marple Police, the police operation around Springton Reservoir is aimed at searching for a missing person from Aston.

In recent days, police investigators have been searching for a missing person at Springton Lake Reservoir on Route 252 in Marple.

Marple Police are using a variety of resources to search for the missing person and there is no danger to the public. The identity of the missing person has not been released.
