Jersey City resident arrested for stabbing man at American Dream mall

A 29-year-old Jersey City resident is facing multiple charges after being accused of stabbing a man at the American Dream Mall on Saturday, police said.

At around 11 p.m., officers responded to an emergency call in the shopping center’s parking garage and found a 28-year-old man with numerous stab wounds.

The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Police said they arrested Raquan Howard at the scene.

The charges against him include grievous bodily harm, possession of weapons and damage to property.

Authorities said he is being held in the Bergen County Jail pending his detention hearing.
