Cyclist (70s) dies after “serious” accident in Cobh, Cork

A male cyclist has died after being found unconscious on the side of the road in Cork yesterday morning.

The man, in his 70s, was cycling in Ballywilliam, Cobh, on Saturday when he was admitted to Cork University Hospital in a serious condition.

He has since passed away.

To determine the course of the investigation, an autopsy is performed.

The road was closed for a while but is now open again.
