UCLA student sexually assaulted in dorm – NBC Los Angeles

Police are searching for the man who sexually assaulted a UCLA student overnight in her dorm, the university said in an alert to its community.

UCLA police issued an alert to its students about the attack, which occurred just after 2:30 a.m. Friday. The alert said the student was in bed when a man entered her room at the Saxon Suites and then sexually assaulted her.

After the attack, the attacker left the dormitory in an unknown direction. How he got into the dormitory is unclear.

Police described the man as being around 30 years old, of a strong build and with a curly beard. At the time of the attack he was dressed all in black and wearing a beanie hat.
