1 arrested after murder over the weekend

TYLER, Texas – A man has been arrested in connection with a murder that occurred Sunday afternoon in Smith County.

Sergeant Jason Railsback of the Smith County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect was arrested after another man was found dead in the northwest part of Smith County on Sunday.

Late Sunday night, police seized the suspect’s vehicle near the intersection of 28th Street and Glass Avenue in Tyler.
