Police investigate incident at bank in Ardsley

Police officers from several different departments are at the Chase Bank in Ardsley this afternoon.

Investigators from Westchester County, Ardsley and Greenburgh all responded to 875 Saw Mill River Road around 9:30 a.m.

County police and Greenburgh have referred News 12’s request to Ardsley police, who have not responded to requests for additional information.

The investigation is ongoing.

The incident led to a brief lockout at all three schools in the Dobbs Ferry school district, which was lifted around noon. A district spokesman said it was an excessive precaution.
