MSHP Silver Alert for missing woman from Platte County, Missouri

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert on Saturday, June 15, for Christine Louise Fitz, a missing Platte County, Missouri woman suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease who disappeared from her home early Saturday morning.

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued an endangered silverback alert Saturday for a missing Platte County, Missouri, woman.

According to MSHP, 66-year-old Christine Louise Fitz was last seen shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday morning walking south from her home in the 7800 block of Northwest Missouri Highway 9.


Fitz is suffering from early stages of dementia and Alzheimer’s, MSHP said.

She is described as 5’10” tall and weighing about 270 pounds. The MSHP also said she has gray hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a blue and white coat with horses on it.
