A murder is being investigated in the Penrose section of St. Louis

Officers were initially called to the scene near the intersection of Farlin Avenue and Shreve Avenue for reports of an “unhappy individual,” the department said. When they arrived at the scene, they discovered that the person was dead and the victim of a murder.

The authorities still have to clarify how the person died. Police have also not released further details about the identity of the shooting victim or other details of the investigation.
