Four people were killed in an accident involving several vehicles on Friday evening

A head-on collision in Tuolumne County killed four people Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP said a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound on Bonds Flat Road at a high rate of speed at about 5:09 p.m. At the same time, a woman was driving a Toyota Highlander in the opposite direction. The Chevrolet, which had a male driver and two female passengers, collided with the Highlander, and all four people involved died. The crash closed the road for about three hours, the CHP said. The occupants of the Chevrolet were all in their 50s or 60s, according to the CHP. The family identified the woman driving the Toyota as 33-year-old Janelle Hall. The family said Hall was on her way home from Sonora and had a husband and two children. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for Hall’s funeral expenses. Authorities have not released the identities of the three other people who died in the crash.
