Buffalo man rushed to ECMC after Thursday night shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man was rushed to Erie County Medical Center following a shooting Thursday evening.

Buffalo Police officers responded to the scene around 10 p.m. Thursday near Brunswick Boulevard and Wohlers Avenue, southeast of Forest Lawn Cemetery. That’s where Northeast District officers found an 18-year-old man who had been shot several times while outside, a city spokesperson said.

The man was transported by ambulance to ECMC, where he underwent surgery. He is listed in stable condition, police said.
