Sean “Diddy” Combs is accused of sexual assault by another woman

(TND) — In a new lawsuit filed Thursday, another woman accuses Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual assault.

Documents obtained by CNN show that April Lampros met the rapper in 1994 while studying at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. She accuses Combs of sexually abusing her four times between the mid-1990s and early 2000s.

The lawsuit also accuses him of bodily harm, assault, negligent infliction of mental suffering and violation of the Victims’ Protection Act in cases of gender-based violence.

Lampros is the latest woman to make allegations against Combs after a video was released last week of the rap mogul attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016 at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

In the lawsuit, Lampros said she told Combs she wanted to work in the fashion industry and after he promised to be her mentor, she claims, “What Mr. Combs showed as a friendly gesture quickly manifested into an aggressive, coercive and abusive relationship based on sex.”

Lampros described several other instances in which Combs abused her, including demanding oral sex in front of a parking attendant, forcing her and a former girlfriend to take ecstasy before having sex, and filming the two having sex without their knowledge and showing the footage to several people.

“She felt that if she disobeyed him, he would take away her dreams of a career in his world. Mr. Combs also threatened to blacklist her from the industry if she tried to influence him in any way,” the lawsuit states. “Ms. Lampros’ dreams and everything she had worked hard for were in his hands.”

The news comes seven weeks after federal authorities raided at least two of his homes as he faces a range of charges, including human trafficking and sexual harassment.

Shortly after CNN released video of Ventura’s attack, Combs admitted to hitting her and said in a video apology that he was “sincerely sorry” and that his actions were “inexcusable.”

“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted when I did it. I still am now,” the music mogul said in a video statement posted on Instagram and Facebook on Sunday.

Combs, founder of Bad Boy Records and three-time Grammy winner, had previously denied the allegations against him.

“Over the past few weeks, I have watched in silence as people have attempted to destroy my reputation and legacy,” Combs wrote on Instagram in December. “Sickening allegations have been made against me by people looking to make a quick buck. Let me be very clear: I have done none of the horrible things I am accused of. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
