Road closures and delays due to head-on collision

WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Weslaco police announced that a road is expected to be closed following a car crash Thursday morning.

According to police, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of the 500 block of Frontage Road.

Due to the road closure, traffic delays are expected on Frontage Road between Westgate and Texas Boulevard.

Police are asking drivers to use alternative routes.
