Vijayapura: A man allegedly took a minor girl from Chikkabevanur village to Maharashtra and sexually abused her for five days. Police have arrested the accused Sohail Honamuragi, 21. Indian police said the girl said in a complaint that Sohail took her to Maharashtra on April 13 by luring her with money. Police cited the girl and said he sexually abused the girl until April 17 and took her back to the village. “We have arrested the accused. Investigations are ongoing,” they added. A case has been registered under Sections 366, 376(2) (I) of the IPC and 4, 6, 12 of the Pocso Act-2012.
