Video: Merab Dvalishvili shows the aftermath of a frightening car accident and says he was uninjured

Merab Dvalishvili isn’t easily intimidated, but a recent car accident has thrown The Machine into disarray.

During a visit to New York, Dvalishvili and his associates were involved in an accident involving at least three vehicles. The bantamweight contender’s friend Giorgi Kiknadze shared a video of the aftermath of the collision, which can be viewed below.

Dvalishvili can be heard saying, “I’m fine,” as he assesses the situation in the car. He later also shared the video on his Instagram Stories with the caption, “Everything is fine. Everyone is safe.”

It is not clear from the video whether anyone outside of Dvalishvili’s party suffered injuries in the crash.

The militant later got out of his ride-along car and then took video of the damage done to the other vehicles. Two (including the one containing Dvalishvili and Co.) suffered massive impacts to their sides, while another had its front left side completely blown off.

“I was in New York for a day and a few hours and I had a serious accident,” Dvalishvili said. “I was in an Uber and our car was hit by some other cars. Look at the damage. I was sitting here and I got hit, thank God I’m okay. Crap. My bags are in now.”

Dvalishvili is currently on a 10-fight winning streak at full bantamweight and awaits his next engagement, which is expected to be a title fight against champion Sean O’Malley.
