Pedestrian Killed in Overnight Crash: Waterbury Police

WATERBURY, CT – A pedestrian was killed in an overnight crash in Waterbury, according to police.

Officers responded to the 800 block of East Main Street just after 10 p.m. Saturday for a report of a person struck by a vehicle, police said. The pedestrian, a man, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The driver, who was uninjured, remained at the scene, police said, and the accident is under investigation.
