32 arrested after multi-agency warrant search in West Hawaii

(BIVN) – A multi-agency warrant search conducted by law enforcement in West Hawaii resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of weapons and drugs.

From the Hawaii Police Department:

A multi-agency warrant search conducted in West Hawaii from April 27 to May 2, 2024 resulted in the arrest of 32 wanted individuals on a total of 55 charges. The search was conducted by detectives from the Area II Vice Section, Area I Special Enforcement Unit, U.S. Marshals Service, and Hawaii Police Department’s Homeland Security Investigations and resulted in felony charges ranging from contempt of court, probation violation, probation without bail and failure to comply appeared, and other related offenses. During the search, 300 grams of methamphetamine, 200 grams of heroin, an illegal assault rifle and $17,000 in cash were seized, which were seized for confiscation.



Police encourage the public to call the Police Department’s 24-hour ice hotlines to provide anonymous information about “ice” and other illegal drugs, as well as the whereabouts of wanted fugitives. The hotline phone numbers are 329-“ZERO-ICE” (329-0423) in Kona and 934-“VICE” (934-8423) in Hilo.
